I have to say how much I admire our police forces when I see them engaged in work like they have been searching that house in Margate for bodies. I can't think how awful it must be, and of course my thoughts and prayers are with the families of Dinah McNicol and Vicky Hamilton.
I was struck though, by the parents of one of the girls speaking of their relief that their daughter had been found. I had expected the reverse, although when I think about it is not that surprising. The 'not-knowing' must be awful.
The news today says that they don't expect to find any more bodies, and I was wondering if that was bad news or good news?
Finding or hearing tough things is hard, but it's often better than not knowing.
Perhaps that's why the Bible is so clear about 'sin', the (often hidden, but very deep) problems that we have in our ? Not an easy messageto hear, but it's better that we do.
